Bad Habits Make You Fat |
You can certainly create a controversy with the term ‘weight loss’. Everyone seems to have their own methods of weight loss. Unfortunately, most people do not have the right weight.
Today we will look at some bad habits that probably help most people gain weight. So that later we can consciously avoid those issues.
1. Eat before going to bed
Many of us eat late at night, it is a bad habit - because we are not hungry, then we eat happily. If you keep track of everything you eat at bedtime for a week, you may notice a pattern. You are eating something sweeter and higher in calories. If you think you must eat something, choose a fruit.
2. Sleeping irregularly
It is very important for you to have a set time for sleep. If you don't have a set time to go to bed, your body chemistry may be synchronized. It creates hormonal imbalances that make you believe that you will be satisfied only if you eat.
3. Eating unconsciously
How comfortable it is to flop down on the couch while watching TV. But you start eating very soon without even paying attention to what you are eating. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition conducted a study that found that a person eats more than 50 percent of calories just by watching TV. Make sure the next time you sit down with your laptop or TV and how many snacks have joined you.
4. Thoughts increase appetite
These two words stress and anxiety can be your worst enemies. These can make you gain weight and disrupt your quality of life. When we experience these feelings, our “sensitive appetite” arises. When this hurts, many of us tend to overeat. Gives us an instant urge to get a little cheaper in this mess by eating sweet or junk food. These are really serious problems, but you must eat a piece of fruit with water or tea.
5. Eat fast
Our generation is always in a hurry. We live in a mobile society and eat out. Often, we don’t take the time to chew our food properly. It usually takes twenty minutes to eat a meal, if we chew each bite slowly, which we don’t often do. It helps a lot in weight gain.
6. Lack of adequate movement
Very little movement is one of the main causes of obesity. When we eat, we sit. Then the fat starts to wrap around our midsections and we are not so keen to get involved in physical activity. Try to be a little diligent to avoid excessive laziness and you will be able to run more smoothly.
7. Avoiding breakfast
Breakfast If we can't catch anything on the way to work or school, we skip breakfast altogether. Most dietitians and healthcare professionals agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Our food in the morning activates our metabolism. And once that switch is turned on, it stays on all day. It is almost impossible to burn calories without a good metabolism. Your first meal of the day should include protein, healthy fatty foods, and complex sugars.
8. Excess salt
It is not good for your weight to accumulate salt, it can also cause fluid retention. When there is too much fluid, it can have a negative effect on your blood pressure.
9. Not taking enough water
In our kidneys and other organs, when there is not enough water, it is difficult to function properly for which toxins can accumulate. Experts recommend drinking at least 2 liters of water per day to stay hydrated. This will better eliminate waste and prevent the formation of excess fat. One way to stay hydrated is to drink tea or natural juices. Eating carbonated drinks is not a good source of fluids. This will only increase the weight because they contain high amounts of sugar.
